Sun and Shade Gardening provides side-by-side garden coaching, consultation for best-practice organic gardening, suggested use of plants native to New England, garden design, plant installation, and ongoing garden maintenance for clients living in the greater Boston area and surrounding suburbs. (NOTE: Lawn care and mowing, hedge trimming, tree care, and raking leaves are not provided)

By helping clients develop healthy soil, maintain gardens organically, and choose plants that are best suitable for their site conditions (especially native plants), their gardens will require less care in the future, less water, less fertilizer, and will create a healthier environment for themselves, their neighbors, children, pets and wildlife.

Sun and Shade Gardening will match their services to your gardening style and needs. Garden care can be scheduled for just two times per year (spring and fall) for seasonal cleanups and pruning. Ongoing garden maintenance includes the two seasonal cleanups, plus maintenance on an every third week or once per month schedule, or weekly if needed.
